These past two weeks were a little different. We had fun celebrating the Fourth of July with friends in Ukarumpa, an
SIL mission center located about two hours from Goroka, then Jeremy headed off to the bush (update and pictures to come) while the kids and I stayed at the center.

| Everett worked on Latin, his favorite subject, while we were in Ukarumpa. |

| Olivia still had to keep up with her history studies while we were away from home. Here, she’s writing a paper on John Wycliffe. |

| A couple of days after returning from the bush, Jeremy enjoyed spending some much needed English speaking “guy time” with friends from language school. |

| Our friends from Holland, the Pauw family, invited a whole group of our language school classmates to their house for a party and we all had a blast! It was great to see everyone again. Here, the kids are catching up with each other while they enjoy some yummy food. |

| Running… |

| All the way down the hill and onto the trampoline. They did this for hours. |

| Upon returning to Goroka, Jeremy (aka Superman) set to work installing a whole house water filter. Now we have clean water! |
