| The kids planted some herbs for our kitchen this week. Boy, have we missed basil and cilantro, but hopefully in a few weeks we’ll have some right outside our front door. |

| We have a friend who lives deep in the bush in Village M. He walked out to Goroka this week and brought a couple of very special gifts. His wife had made a bilum out of bush rope for Everett (the bag around his neck). The large funny looking thing in his hands is taro, one of the staple foods of PNG. |

| The truck is all loaded up and headed off to another town to hopefully be repaired and used by some fellow missionaries. |

| On Friday we had lunch at a restaurant in Goroka Town called Steak Haus. Eating here is a nice treat once in a while. |
